“Storms” Podcast is up
The podcast from last night has now been uploaded.
Let me mention a couple things:
1 – The storms are coming…it is inevitable.
2 – Loving Jesus and being loved by Jesus does not exempt us from the storms.
3 – Jesus understood his life, his role, and kept his eyes on the Truth…which gave him a clarity few can comprehend but all of us can tap into.
4 – He loves and cares for you, in and out of the storm. That never changes.
Keep an eye out for news, messages, holiday podcasts, and mission information that will be popping up occasionally online.
See you here regularly I hope. See you back in worship at Melrose on January 8th.
Blessings.

I just got an i-pod for Christmas so I can listen to sermons as I drive and this was the first one I was able to listen to. It’s refreshing to remember that God came down to earth and lived among his people in the form of Jesus. It is refreshing because God knows what it is like to be human as well as all of the consequences. He understands what hurt feels like physically and spiritually. Maybe I’m just being silly, but it’s nice having a God that can relate to me and understand what people go through because he went through it himself when he didn’t have to.
