It's refreshing to remember that God came down to earth and lived among his people in the form of Jesus. It is refreshing because God knows what it is like to be human as well as all of the consequences. He understands what hurt feels like physically and spiritually. Maybe I'm just being silly, but it's nice having a God that can relate to me and understand what people go through because he went through it himself when he didn't have to.
