MARK IT DOWN! MARCH 5! BE THERE! RHYTHM
The podcast from last night (February 19th) is now available for download.
So good to worship with everyone last night. Thank you for joining us as we continue to reach for new heights in our outreach to the valley at Rhythm. We did have our largest attendance to date last night. Woohoo! Good times.
Discipleship, following Jesus, and keeping our eyes on Him. These were some of the thoughts, words, ideas, and concepts we studied last night.
So, for this blog I leave you with the central verse of last night’s message for you to discuss, comment on, ponder, share, etc.
Mark 8:34
‘Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.’
Blessings,
CT

Hey Everyone…
I apologize for the delay in this newest post…but I have been out of the country…literally.
I married one of my band members…literally.
I performed the ceremony, in Florida, on a cruise ship…yes, it was really cool. Thanks for asking.
So for this post I wanted to preview instead of look back.
I am going to post an excerpt from the text for this week…and its a good one. It is also a very difficult one. In fact I can’t recall ever hearing a pastor or teacher use this text in a message. Which is why I am throwing it out there. I want to hear your thoughts, reservations, hope, questions, or whatever else may come of this. I am excited about it…actively working through it…and hopefully will have many holy nuggets to share come Thursday. So here is a portion of Mark Chapter 7.
24 Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.
25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an evil[h] spirit came and fell at his feet.
26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.”
28 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.
Enjoy.
I miss you all and can’t wait to see you this Thursday.
