Hey everyone…
Greetings from Poquoson, VA. My apologies for the delay in posting this week’s podcast, but it is up now.
The sermon should give all of you a better feel for the what and why of that thing we all love called Rhythm in the Roanoke Valley.
Check back in the next 48 hours to see the preview post for next weeks message. I will be posting the scripture passage we will be dealing with next Thursday. I am very excited as well as a “healthy” type of anxious about what God has in store for our growth in following Him.
You will also be able to find a list of the next few weeks Rhythms as well as the items for the next several weeks of Free Store donations located on the right side of each page of the website. Please make an effort to be involved in sharing with our community as we collect basin everyday necessities that people who live and work near us do without.

Just a quick note with a few reminders.
1 – Exciting to know that people are sharing in what God is doing here in Roanoke. We officially have had 10, 000 podcasts downloaded since we began. That is very cool.
2 – Keep an eye on the website for blogs, announcements, and anything else you might need that has anything to do with Rhythm.
3 – Keep asking God to help you “See” Him this week. If God is speaking to you, or if you would like to share about what is keeping you from seeing God or what you are asking Him to help you see…then, by all means, share!
4 – The podcast from the end of Mark 10 is now online. Enjoy.

Greetings.
I must confess I am blown away by the outpouring of young adult worshipers last night! I am also taken aback by the job ahead of us in making discerning choices on the future of this ministry so that we can be good stewards with what God has blessed us with. So pray with me in that direction…and stay the course with us!
We really did have 200 people again last night. Unbelievable. Thank you Jesus. Keep ‘em coming!
So, the Podcast on the Rich Young Ruler form Mark 10 is up. And with that I have a question…
I would like to see any and all of you who would, write a comment on this post with an answer to this question:
What is holding you back? Or, What is holding back you/your peers/your generation from full on following Jesus with nothing left but our faith? What “things” are we holding to so tightly that we would “trade our souls” to keep control over?
Should be interesting…we will see if anyone shares…or if everyone shares.
