We believe in a mission outside ourselves. This year from May 24-29 we will be returning to New Orleans to help with construction projects on two houses and some other projects as needed. The trip this year will be $400 which will include all accommodations, travel and meals. Sign-ups and money are due ASAP to Shanna Bryant who can be reached at shanna@genesisroanoke.com.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a blog post so I figured it was time to change that. This week at Rhythm we talked about how we know that God is real. It’s something that’s hard to explain but like the butterflies and penguins, maybe we too have an internal compass that points us in that direction. We also talked about looking up at the sky and just knowing…by the beauty and majesty of His creation. Sometimes we lose sight of the things that make our God amazing like the fact that the breath that you just took…God. So this week here’s hoping that in every bit of creation, in the moon and the stars, or maybe the eyes of someone that you care about, you will find God’s grace to be sufficient.
