It’s been a while since we’ve done a blog post so I figured it was time to change that. This week at Rhythm we talked about how we know that God is real. It’s something that’s hard to explain but like the butterflies and penguins, maybe we too have an internal compass that points us in that direction. We also talked about looking up at the sky and just knowing…by the beauty and majesty of His creation. Sometimes we lose sight of the things that make our God amazing like the fact that the breath that you just took…God. So this week here’s hoping that in every bit of creation, in the moon and the stars, or maybe the eyes of someone that you care about, you will find God’s grace to be sufficient.

Hey Everyone…
A couple of things for you…
1 – The podcast from Thursday night is up. Enjoy.
2 – Great crowd this week…just wanted to let you know we have been averaging between 170 and 180 for about a 2 months now around the break…and we have enjoyed a LOT of visitors to the worship services. We are so very close to really having another lauch in our numbers. We have been so in and out with our regulars that we are on the verge of making February our first month to average over 200 at Rhythm for a month! It is very exciting, but we need people to return to Regular Attendance! The winter weather will soon move on, and school is back in full swing. Hope to see all of you each week over the next month!

The first Rhythm of 2010 has occurred and the first podcast is now online.
I was very excited to see nearly 200 young adults coming together to worship.
I am also very excited about what God is going to do with all of us in 2010.

It was an unbelievable night together last Thursday at our Rhythm Celebration! The time of joy, worship, prayer and baptism was simply a God send for all of us! I am thankful for all of you who had a part in it. I pray that you will invite somebody this week to share in the joy that gathering together brings us. We need to refocus ourselves on the idea of reaching out with Rhythm to all those who do not know or have not experienced Jesus for who He is.
Invite somebody to Rhythm next week. Start now!
I apologize to all the podcast listeners out there…since we had a week of all music and prayer, there is no podcast from last Thursday. We will be back online for you next week.

We are less than 2 weeks away from joining a few hundred other collegiates and young adults for our first “retreat” experience at Rhythm. I have made reservations for 40 people. You may still sign up if you like! But, I need all of you who have yet to pay to bring your money in this Thursday if at all possible. Money is not an issue that should keep anyone from going. We have already had 5 spots paid for by persons who just want everybody who wants to go to be able to go!
I am looking forward to coninuting our study in James on Thursday! Hope to see you there.

Greetings…
I am grinning this morning because I know that God loves and chooses to bless us in spite of ourselves. As simple as the messages have been God has chosen to move us way beyond simple worship into evident life changing moments that we have been allowed to witness and enjoy together. It was a good night and a good crowd. Good times living and learning about the long term effects of showing favoritism towards others in the body of Christ. Thanks for all the input.
